Easter Pie Cooking Class is Back!

Italians are know for their traditions and many of them stem around traditional foods eaten at certain times of the year. Easter is one of those times.

There is the traditional meat, egg and cheese pie that some people call Pizza Gaina, some call Pizza Rustica and some just call meat pie.

No matter what you call it, it is delicious! Often it is eaten on the Saturday before Easter after the lenten fast is broken or even served as an appetizer for Easter Dinner. Everyone in Italy seems to have their own variation of what they put inside, Filomena will teach us hers.

We will make the pie together virtually and you can certainly enjoy it when it is done. But if you prefer to save it until Easter you can wrap and freeze it and it will be done ahead of time for your Easter dinner.

We will email the list of ingredients to you the week before the class and the virtual link that weekend.
